haha this page (well the old one with the comments and whatfucknot) got digged up in the thread about the new fastest guitar player record, as he plays in this band.

I think it really is ok to be proud of your music and liking to listen to it, but the audio comments on the song clips back then felt really snobish to me.
I'd be really surprised if they sold a lot of boxes with that method of "you're too dumb to understand that shit!11!!!"

anyway, I'm with Dani on the music, its a pitty cause its not bad actually.
Mix is though, espeically guitars.

Yeah, I mean I think it's super important for a musican/songwriter to feel pride in their own work, I myself absolutely love my band's music and sometimes listen to it often when in the mood for that style, but I'm not gonna release a "director's commentary" edition of my album explaining how beautiful it is, that's just retarded might as well let the music speak for itself and you gotta live with the fact that not everyone's gonna "get it" like you did and feel grateful if anyone else actually does.

And yeah the mix is pretty sucky, but I listened to one full song and actually enjoyed it, I wanna listen to some more of it.
