Victim of the night: Really? That sounds like me. LOL. My middle finger nail is really long, not normal long and it grew crooked but it broke. Now my nail is ordinary and boring.

Well, I'm quite sure I won't be able to word it very clearly, but I'll try to.
Ok, now that I've thought about this song and about the reason it has that title.... I remembered that someday, a lot of time ago, while I was searching something in Internet about lake Bodom's tragedy, I found many versions...
Also, I spotted some stories and reports in which it was told that when the omicide of those children happened there had been rumors which told somebody remembered to have seen in that place, somewhere around, a certain "obscure" person with a hand with a (or more, I really don't remember) long nail... and that this person, who saw that "thing" (whatever you could call it), was shocked... more or less.
I know you could think I'm liar... but that's really what I read... but I don't remember anything else, nor where I found those infos.

But a thing... in your transcription of The Nail lyrics, where you wrote "sometimes wait", I've always thought Alexi said "something wild"...
Well, at least that is what my ears hear everytime (every day?
) I'm listening to that song... hmm that could also fit, and it sounds better though
And so, if my ears heard good, maybe CoB called that album Something Wild right cause of that lil' phrase in The Nail's lyrics... hey, that would be odd but nice.

Yeah, it's such an underrated song. All my friend hate it
At the Unholy Alliance-show in Helsinki, I started chanting "Nail, Nail, Nail!" betveen every song. Probably got strange looks from people around me, but whatever. It would be incredible to hear it played live, even if it would sound like elephants having sex (considering the skills of Alexi today)...
