The New Album Thread

The production of the first album was already very good (eventhough after listening to the CD 40 times or so, you begin to notice some flaws)
But I'm already excited about the new sound.

Take your time Matt.....I'd much rather you do what it takes to make it the best album you can come up with. Having said that i can't wait til it comes out......but ultimately quality is what counts so i'm happy to wait! The best music out there is always when someone wants to make a real work of art of a project and Theocracy is such a good band so far ....no need to rush things for the sake of demand.

Omg the new album leaked on the net !! its TeH Roxors1!1!!!11!! new theocracy is awesome.
o wait its jlB elements of persuasion Never mind :)

Yeah, I'm going to the Manowar/Rhapsody/HolyHell show here in Atlanta on June 7th. I might be wearing a Theocracy shirt, but I might wear something else as well. We'll see!

Enjoy the show. I returned a few days ago from the long trip to Cleveland. Rhapsody blew me away. I can't wait to see them headline someday with a longer setlist. My buddy that I went to Cleveland with was so impressed that, immediately upon returning home, he bought airfare to Atlanta to see your show tonight! And he already had airfare to NY to see the last show of the tour. If you're wearing your Theocracy shirt, I guarantee he will come up and talk to you (he loves Theocracy). He's a 6 foot 5 guy with long blonde hair.

Have fun! Rhapsody is amazing.

FYI: Manowar announced during the show that that they would be adding three more legs to the tour and that they would be playing Cleveland again. My buddy and I will work hard to make sure that they come to Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Well, I might be wearing the Theocracy t-shirt, I might be wearing an Edguy - Hellfire Club tour tshirt. I cannot decide! I have a four hours till I need to start getting ready! :)

Well, I think he'll say HI either way. He likes Edguy more than Theocracy and Rhapsody! If you get a chance to chat with him, do so. He's a really cool guy.

I am jealous that you get to see this show tonight. I hope that you love it!

FYI, the buddy in question (his name is Nathan) and I will both be in Atlanta for ProgPower in Sept.

Looks like we're going to be on the ProgPower sampler again this year. That means we have to have a song totally finished and mixed in like a week and a half... :err:

Oh well, I'm up for a challenge!

Great! When will the sampler be out? And will the song be exclusive to the ProgPower CD?

Great show last night! I posted my review in the Progpower forum under the Rhapsody in Atlanta thread. Saw Nathan, man, he was enjoying himself! He said "Theocracy rules!" cause he saw the shirt, but too far away to talk really.

Also, Manowar said this concert would be on Hell on Earth V, which means a Theocracy shirt might be seen on the DVD. I should get some money for promoting!!!

:)

Sweet! Nathan reports that you saw a WAY better Manowar performance than we did in Cleveland. Rhapsody was about the same (which is awesome).

Hi all!
I just had to join up to say to Matt and the guys what an awesome bunch you are.
The debut album blessed me here in England, although it was VERY hard to get hold of.....
The songs still bless me. "Theocracy" continually draws me back to my knees to worship, and "Sinner" is, like, me to a tee. It voices my own shameful feelings when I fall just like David does in the Psalms.

In other words, I am looking forward to hearing more from you guys. I tremble in anticipation.....

(well, not quite)
(maybe its the unusual heat here today)

God Bless
Simon

Thanks Simon! Very much appreciated. It's always great to hear how much people like the album.
Well, the song for the ProgPower sampler is done and mixed, and I must say I think it came out quite well! I'm looking forward to actually being able to relax a little bit now (and going on vacation next week!). ;)

so, would there by any chance be a nice big THANKS to all the gang at the Theocracy forum for all their love and support, on the thanks list of the new cover booklet?

pssst (extra special thanks to Darren spydie Hyderman for being so super and getting me where I am today) lol, kidding.

I was thinking y'all could all get together and pose for a picture for the album cover.

I let Glenn Harveston hear the new track that's going on the CD Sampler, and he liked it so much that he said they're going to play it over the house P.A. between sets. :headbang:
