I've begun to notice the surge in heavy metal in regards to new age prophecies on Armageddon. From Iced Earth (Pretty damn blatant) and Judas Priest, to Dream Theater and Nevermore. Fuck, even Moral Orel is doing it, for those who know the show. That thing with Aliens, as presented by Orel at the end of the show on one episode? Rather fucking symbolic to Iced Earth's thing, don't you think? It's pissing me off. Which is why I demand the stoppage of using an overused subject on all metal albums and TV shows as of now.

I also happen to have the authority to do this on whim. BOW before me! :devil:

Anyways, the one thing they all seem to point to is the following fact:

666 == 777

Discuss.

Eh, Iced Earth's saga involves armageddon yeah. But it's more about the origins of Man, Religion and war ect ect.

OK, first of all - I don't know why you're demading an end to this here, on this board, without having provided the obligatory picture of meat, titties, beer and/or a nice omlette. Quid pro quo, Clarice. (oh, and make sure it's GOOD meat, titties, beer and omlette)

Second, given the current state of the planet, world finance, the price of oil, etc. why are you surprised that there's a widespread assumption that we're screaming towards an end of some kind?

Third, and last -- are you just noticing this? I'm pretty sure I've been hearing these messages for years, now. Just sayin'...

This thread delivers.

Ah, deliverance...Perish the thought, I guess. I'm just stating my opinion, tried to be funny but I never was very good at using wit.

In response to "Mr. Cool Ice", I don't have any pictures, but I do have this slightly arousing yet definitively amusing video I used a few years back for a science project in school.

My personal space

But on the same subject, I'd like to note (Because you are the shitty mallcore band, deathstrike, on so many levels) that they're trying to point out that there's a truth to what they're saying, and each artist has his/her own share on it and vision for it. Iced Earth just so happens to encompass the vast majority of that shared vision, the grand concept of why. But there are so many others...To move the discussion onward, let's try an experiment: Use your imagination to create a vision of the apocalypse, and see what happens.

If that is who I think it is, I would never deny. Though Jim Carrey magnified the role for me, with his acting skill, I would like to know the identity of this one.

be it zombies, aliens, or negroes, i'll be there exploding heads with my boomstick

Only your mental integrity will tell if this truth can withstand the test of time. If not, it is a sad day. If so, will it not also be a sad day?

What if I told you the bible is the biggest error of man known to man? Fuck, even Moses knew that and he tried his best to get the message out. However, I'm missing something so I wouldn't be able to elaborate effectively, but point in fact you should read "The Apocryphon of John" if you're confused.

Grandmother's legacy is coming true. Has the anomaly been found, or did the anomaly find?
