The new cliché

Maybe people still write songs, books, and movies, about the topic, because it will always be a fascinating subject. It's simple, there doesn't need to be a deeper reason. It won't become cliche' because, it scares the shit out of so many people, religious or not.

What I have a mild interest in is end of time (as in the universe) theories. Like the Big Rip. I don't know much physics, so I don't completely understand it, but I was entertained by the History Channels incredibly sensationalized documentary on it.

Was that show the top 10 different ways the world could end? I loved that show, but I can't remember which channel it came on. Dang. If that wasn't the one, tell me the name of that one, so I can catch it.

I really don't watch much TV, so I miss all the good history channel shows if it's not word of mouth.

There were 5 million different specials that were the 10 ways the world can end. I dont really like those, partially because most of them are so unlikely, though they act like they will happen tomorrow, but also because I've seen at least 4 different hour long specials on different networks, and they're all the same. End of the Universe is a little more unique. Earth is nothing on a cosmic scale.

I will agree the end of the universe is a bit more interesting. Also, too many shows for me to remember too. Oh this one I saw was fun though. Dang it, I couldn't tell you which it was on or what it was called for the life of me either. Ugh, it's like trying to remember one of those shows on Egypt, they are like fleas! But, I still enjoy them. :D

If aliens come, perhaps it would signify a certain truth we're waiting to wake up to. Like a game of dominoes, the past is pre-determined from any standpoint in time, but what remains to be seen is the future and where the path goes. There are countless possibilities if you don't know, but craving knowledge and leaving your beliefs to be molded by the truth, there ends up only being one truth. And that's that you can always count on people using logic to find the truth. Otherwise, it becomes faith in the right thing to happen. That alone singles out the opposite, the using logic for everything, the search for knowledge just by altering your state of mind, your "Preference of reference", so to speak. And therein becomes a choice.

So what do you choose? Can you learn to suffer 2 masters bid you farewell from this world, or make the choice between fate and destiny?

EDIT: </crypticwritings>

I gave up religion some time ago. If you agree with me, that would make two of us who don't consider ourselves to be converts to anything but your inner strength. In the day (Counting less than a year ago, anyway) I would be like "Ooh, learning is my passion, free thinking is king!" but in the end it was my free thinking. My ideal. I've done lots, experienced lots, and if there's one thing I've learned it's that coincidence proves logic. So if you feel this is coincidence, know that it was meant to be by pure natural selection.
