I haven't played on it, but my friend who works at a Sam Ash said that it's basically an S series with 2 extra frets and a non-floating trem. But from the looks of the guitar on the website, it seems as if the tremolo is floating. Locking tuners look shite on it. Anyone else here have a go at the SV? Oh yeah, pickups are direct mounted.
