but the song is called 'long live rock and roll' not 'long live metal'. unfortunately, that means that the best 'metal' anthem probably is some gay song by manowar where the word 'metal' makes up aprox. 95% of the lyrics. 'the gods made heavy metal' or 'brothers of metal' get my vote. super gay, super cheesy, just plain hilarious. and BAD.

The Book of Heavy Metal is the most cheesy cool song in the world, Dream Evil are like the Gods of Cheese, that band is so fucking rediculous, the music video is the one of the funniest things i've ever seen, that drummer with his fucking football pads, and the singer is holding that chrome sledgehammer the whole time and wearing fucking FLY-FISHING PANTS!!!! WHAT THE HELL!?!? That song definitely wins.
