The problem with Beck,and with a lot of the other conservative hosts, (Hannity, O'Reilly, what have you), is the bad habit they have of not letting people finish speaking. Annoys the hell out of me, so much so that the only time I actually watch Fox News is when I'm at my grandparents' house.

Glenn Beck isn't just an idiot because of his behavior; he's an idiot because he doesn't realize that the power of the media runs both ways. Until now he's been just a pain in the ass and a big joke the world over, but one day he's gonna realize that being a media sensation, whether he's retarded or not, carries responsibility. He takes no responsibility for his actions as long as the outcome happens to be what he wanted. I wonder how he'll react when he doesn't get the reaction he wants and gets into a lot of trouble.

He isn't an idiot at all, he's a very smart guy who knows exactly what he is doing. The guy you see on TV and hear on the radio is a character he plays. I'm in the camp with the 50% of the country who isn't interested in buying what he is selling, but I respect the business acumen to successfully exploit a market opportunity so well.
