The only band that comes close to OPETH

OPETH is and will always be my favorite band so of course i haved searched for a band that has damn near the same style as them and no one came close until I picked up the Forest Stream cd at the local metal shop. I would have to say i am completely blown the fuck away by the greatness of these three men. Is there anything else i can find that has basically the same style?

But Do you really find our style is near to Opeth, Dead Light?
I think that Opeth mostly has its own unique style
But you're right on the one hand. Opeth's songs are also very long and each song has various structure
and Opeth doesn't use much synth keys

I can advise you to listen to Diabolical Masquerade,
Katatonia, Emperor, My Dying Bride as well if you didn't before cause
we all like these bands very much.

I think the whole melody thing with both bands is where they can be compared but yeah other than that, they're nothing alike really. Forest Stream are sorta a mixture of new my dying bride/asgaroth/emperor sorta thing in my view
