The Paris gig finished one hour ago, I'm just back home, and man, did it rock!! :hotjump:

They played Odyssey from start to finish, and that was enough to make my day...

Well, let's start at the beginning. Odyssey aside, the setlist was similar to the one they used last spring, so it was quite good! Romeo was less shy than usual, he stood his ground at the front of the stage, and I was just in front of him... So I could weep while seeing him play. :OMG:

Russel was his usual self, which is friendly, handling the stage as if he was possessed, singing perfectly well and playing with the audience. A nice moment when he explained that Paris had become a very special place to him. For those who didn't know, the day before the Paris gig last spring, he had proposed to his girlfriend, so during the gig he had explained it to us and he had been raving mad on stage! This time, he just wanted to say thank you to us for our enthusiasm. Great moment.

I'm dead on my feet, so I'm crawling to my bed now... But the gig was so great I really had to scream it here. ;) I'll have some pictures in a few days, taken during and after the gig.

Have fun!

Sounds good!
Was there a support act?

Yes there was. It was a French band called Headline. There are well-known here, but totally unknown abroad, I'm afraid. It's an experienced band playing some melodic metal with a female singer. I did not know their music well, but it was quite good and the contact with the public was really nice (even if "Sir" did quite a show afterwards ;) ).

I'm generally biased against support acts, but this doesn't sound too bad. Thanks for the info!

Clearchus, who also reads the Wheel of Time :)
