the past 24 hours have been pretty terrible

about a dozen things went sour, and i want to give up on socializing and go live in a beach house in Maine all winter. except that one of the crappy things about the past 24 hours has been the biting cold and the Maine beach house will only exacerbate that. another one of the crappy things has been my root canal this morning and the only way i could solve that is by pulling all my teeth and getting a pair of fake choppers.

in other words, we're all fucked.

i got a few christmas presents last night and was reminded of how much i dislike giving and getting presents and the huge potential for missteps in that field. the best present i got was a plastic HK MP5 that makes an obnoxiously loud noise when it fires and will be used for 2005's planned Halloween costume.
