I really liked Brave New World. I had to think long and hard, and I still haven't really come to a conclusion, about why that world was bad. It feels natural to reject it, but it could easily be argued that it is better than what we have.

gary busey is such a charismatic dude

I'm feeling bad about myself now, because when I saw this I had three reactions. The first was "I've already seen this done with a different picture." The second was "use fireball!" The third was "maybe I should chuckle."
i was thinking get some heavy melee to tank the little ones while spellcasters cast aoe spells on them, as snipers focus fire on the big one.

You two should also read Fahrenheit 451, it's a great book that's along the same concept.

Nah, it's a fireman from the future that's been dumbed down like the rest of society because of government containment. After meeting a little girl, he starts to realize whats going on and stops taking medication. Then it kinda reveals that firemen don't actually put out fires, but they burn books. and yeah, that's pretty much the over view of the beginning of the books

Um no.

Edit: Post jump.

I think Huxley and Orwell were both right to a degree. We are distracted by trivial pleasures while our freedom of thought/action is slowly being constricted in Orwellian fashion.
