The pics thread

Aye, thanks. its getting back to about how long it was a few years back. Really glad to have it back, felt like part of me was missing for a good while.

Wish I never listened to my ex when she got me to cut it back then

If a significant other has to ask you to cut your hair, that relationship is moribund.

Yeah, that one was doomed for failure from the start. Didn't see it at the time of course.

You must have been fairly whipped. Or whatever. Who knows. We're all guilty of doing stupid things when "in love" with someone.

Yeah, ha you could say that.
I literally have the same hair and facial hair as Mort_Divine fml

bet you're not as pretty as me though ;)

Theres a nasty fire going really close to where I live...Weve had some nasty winds today and this shit just keeps growing and remaining at 0% containment...

Heres a few pics I found online:

Last time I checked it was at 7000 acres with 0% contained...It doubled in area in less than an hour... :(

Camarillo/Newbury Park California.

Yeah homes and schools...Its heading towards the ocean so its moving away from houses, businesses, schools etc. But still fucking insane, and that fact that its been going on since 8am and is 0% contained is very alarming.

Mort, you've got that same thing I do where hair doesn't grow between your moustache and beard. It's why I shaved it all off, really.

Glad to see this is a common thing. And I also leave it there because I look like a kid without it. Or if I just leave the mustache, I get this ridiculous 70s porn stash look.

The Station Fire in 2009 was extremely close to burning down my family's house. I will never forget the first time I saw the fire either.

I was driving up a really steep hill towards my house in nighttime, and I was blasting Shores in Flames by Bathory. Just as I reached the top of the hill and saw the entire horizon covered in bright flames (which looked oddly pretty in the pitch black night), the song reached the 2:50 mark, which is when the guitars come blasting in after an extremely long chanting intro. I can't remember a song synching up so perfectly to a moment in life like that, absolutely mesmerizing.

Old beard pic. It had gotten a lot longer than that, but this is one of the only shots I got of the thing.
