The pics thread

I despise my glasses. They are constantly falling down my nose.

I hate my hair as well. You guys can all see why I keep it short.

Your new glasses look like my new glasses. :zombie: Except mine are slightly more round. I hate the new trend in frames with the squared off look...I'm not entirely happy with this frame, but it's the roundest that I had available. My last pair of glasses was 6 years old though, so I kind of needed a new one, although my prescription didn't change much.

Yeah, mine are very similar as well. I think mine are smaller though. I have to get a new pair soon as my prescription has changed. I fuckin hate getting new frames, they all suck. I've used the same frames for 2-3 years now and they're falling apart.

My glasses are so fucked up. I need to replace them. But I'll probably go with contacts when I do - I'm sick of glasses.

I'm the only person in my direct family that doesn't have glasses or contacts. Either I am just awesome or I really do need them and have just never noticed (I've never taken an eye test or anything).

Maybe I should go for one of those free tests sometime to find out.

My father is nearsighted and my mother is farsighted. So until high school I assumed that the two canceled each other out. The opposite eventually came to be true, since I now wear bifocals.

Bifocals are better than regular lenses tbh. Wearing normal glasses all the time can screw up your eyes even more, especially when you're reading. That's what happened to me. I went from being 20/70 to like 20/400 in a matter of 3 years.

I have contacts, but I don't really have any incentive to wear them since I don't really ever see anybody I give a shit about.

No one in my family wears glasses or contacts, and I can read the bottom line of those eye charts from much further away than is required. I don't even know why they ask me to step up to the line, since I can just read it from the doorway when I enter the room.
