Indeed (though I'm a couple hours south of Chicago). Only time I leave the house is to enter vehicles or walk home, so it isn't that bad. Easily worth the extended comfort I get by wearing shorts.

I love summer time. All I wear are my rainbow slippers, board shorts, and a white hanes t-shirt.

Just realized some people may literally think my slippers are rainbow colored; which is not the case. These are rainbow slippers:

I like to wear shorts if it's over 70 degrees (21 C) outside for most of the day, especially if it's humid. I prefer shorts that cover my knees and I have a few pairs of khaki and camo shorts that have lots of pockets to suit my purposes.
