Yep. I once thought that, because my father was nearsighted and my mother farsighted, the two would cancel each other out and I'd never need glasses. The opposite turned out to be true.

I'm ¼ Scottish and I think the concensus in the Moustache March thread is that I'm the fastest beard grower.

My dad is ½ Scottish and he can grow a really thick beard really quickly, but he's also a lot older than me.

On the other hand, my grandmother is 100% Scottish, as well as much older than my dad and she can't grow a beard at all.

I suppose being dead isn't helping her case, though.
