i love her!!!

New split out on Cipher Prod. (Australia) between me (Ichorous) and German harsh noise artist Broken Diode. This came out fucking awesometacular:

Designs are all by me. Release was funded by the label. It's only one tape but I put both there to represent both of us fairly :p

Yes the art is a human embryo.

Oh yeah and the insert is folded in half (duh) and inserted in a Ziploc bag which fits it perfectly. The tape is included between the two halves of the inserts.

So that said I have 15 copies. If you want one let me know; I need some for next week's show down the street but I can sling a few copies to people here.

This is by far your best post ever, as well as the manliest post of all time.
That post just about makes up for his sig which freaks me out.

looks cool.
why do you release on cassette, btw?

For real, though. There are some places that'll make high quality CDs of shit with inserts and all for like 3 bucks a each.

I personally like tapes a lot. I think this one might have been better on CD (due to the art looking more suitable for a CD, though it came out nice) but tapes are technically cheaper to dub because there is no drop in quality if you just dub them at home with high-bias tapes (as opposed to CDr's which you can duplicate in your home burner, but good luck getting them to not suck). Anyway I like how it came out regardless of format, I have done tapes and CDs and I find something I like with each medium.

Also CDs feel weird for splits to me (though I have done them before, and recently even). I like actually flipping the wax or tape to listen to the other artist, it makes it more enjoyable than just going "oh look the next track changed and it's another artist". Just my opinion though.

Plus the label really only offered a tape, due to the fact that Malevolence Vol. II (you'll notice on that pic it says Vol. I ;)) is going to be on 7" EP on the same label later this year. :p

Yeah, I agree that tapes are better for splits. And I see what you're saying about cheapness. It does look nice either way. And the label has final say anyhow.
