I have a friend who looks exactly like my description, and I seem to notice a lot of people who are prog fans (and play guitar) to look exactly like that.

I am really tall. Used to be skinny. I wear glasses/contacts. But I'm not a big prog fan (although I loved this year's prog nation tour. I don't have an Opeth shirt (they were out of Watershed in medium). And I have long hair.

I guess when a 16 year old says he has a beard it's a fair bet that it's gross and shitty (mine is borderline acceptable, imo), and when someone makes 6k+ posts in 8 months or so it's a fair bet they're a fatass.
