Crimson floyd: It really isn't anything compared to your dads, though. That thing is awesome. Really interesting mix had no idea Black Irish was a thing. But just for Onder, I'll post hers for a bit but will probably take down in the morning because she'd probably be pretty mad even though this is an extremely old and kind of faded picture.

Edit: Took it down because I'm paranoid but hope ya saw it.

My grandparents always told me that Black Irish meant that some of our ancestors were from Spain, but apparently historians doubt that Spaniards made a significant dent into the Irish gene pool. So it might just refer to the Irish phenotype that has black hair and darker features.

It looks like you're not too far off from having a solid fro.

This lady was amazing looking back in the 70s.

There aren't very many beautiful English girls, but most of them are young middle class women with this kind of a look about them.

She isn't meant to have bazookas or buns of steel, michelin man figure or any of that.

That stuff is really fascinating. A genealogy test would confirm exactly what it is, have you considered that? Thanks would probably take years to become mega, one day...

whiskey_funeral: I'm in love with that tramp stamp! Wished i had the balls do something like that hahaha

In regards to the Black Irish/Red Irish thing, my family is "black irish", and as I understand, the Black Irish are the descendants of the Gauls. Red Irish implies those who came from Scandinavia and the UK I believe. I could be completely wrong though

I don't get why Americans love Ireland and Irish heritage so much. Ireland had some kind of important point in history when the kept some classical texts that were otherwise lost or something, a hell of a long time ago, long before modernity, but other than that, they haven't really done much more than say, the Armenians or Bulgarians.

Heh I'm the dirty blonde hair and red facial hair type Irish/Scottish. My grandmother came directly from Scotland and supposedly was 50/50.

The Irish gave us all a sweet drinking holiday. The English just went around raping and killing everyone. Of course, so did Americans, so good point.
