I'm pretty sure I could go to jail for carrying a knife in the UK. To be fair though, it's pretty much impossible to go through life without breaking the laws on carrying weapons or potential weapons at some point or other. Sometimes you have to carry tools around a bit in public. I know this will set krig off on a rant. To be fair, I don't really care about concealed carry "rights" because I pretty much hate the people who carry knives. It makes me think of people who would be an asshole in a club and then stab the guy who criticizes them or something, destroying a life for no reason. I like the castle doctrine, but not really people who carry knives for personal protection. People who weren't dickheads used to do that in the UK in the 80s and early 90s but now it's just thugs.

I think the defense did a very smart think by bringing up charges of manslaughter because it is so obvious that Zimmerman is guilty of ending Martin's life and caused the circumstances that directly lead to the situation.

They might not get murder to stick, but if Zimmerman gets off free completely...
