Because your car was most likely an anomaly and maintenance on this car isn't going to cost me anything, I said that in my previous post. You don't buy expensive cars without a warranty, ever.

I mean it gets you from point a to point b, but I wasn't totally swooned when I drove my buddies 328i or whatever version it is. Really nice car, but I think it's a brand thing more than anything. You can tell all your OKC girls you drive a BMW and they will think you're hot shit haha
The warranty is cool, but how long are they? I doubt longer than 3, definitely not 5 unless you spent a lot of money..but you are neglecting that aspect of the debate haha
My volkswagen has all those silly sensors and time monitoring and it cost me 26k and I kind of regret dropping that much dough on a car.

Four year 50k mile factory warranty. Most manufacturers only offer 3 year 36k and don't include routine maintenance. Although, some of the Korean companies offer a lot more but they're shit cars so fuck em. I don't even have to pay to have my wiper blades replaced ffs.
$37 large. MSRP is $44.

Nothing is going wrong under 50k miles these days no matter what you buy, and when stuff does go wrong down the road, I don't want to be paying to repair German vehicles.

Yeah, the warranty will expire at some point. That also doesn't include just general upkeep like oil changes. I took my 3 series (when I owned one) to an independent shop because the dealer charges you outrageously for shit. It was 100 dollars to have my oil changed. At an independent shop.
I got my invoice from my first oil change in my Honda: 27 bucks

Don't people who can afford cars like that generally trade them in for a new car before the warranty runs out? I know people who do that and they're not millionaires. We just had some semi shit cars on a yard that would become road registered and so on as and when they were needed. Most people don't treat cars in such a gypsy manner though.

I'd like a Ferrari 308 GTB in blue. I'd have to have a surreal amount of money before maintaining such a car would be feasible, from my point of view, however.
