On the subject of Star Trek, I was watching Armstrong and Miller do a piss take of it, and I had a weird moment of clarity thing.

Why hasn't Earth been buttfucked by every hostile nation in the galaxy yet?

All the star trekians seem to do is fly around befriending good guys, and fucking off bad guys. Surely the bad guys would just attack their home planet to get to the Star Trek people.

Bro, the Borg attacked Earth like 3 times and the Breen made a pretty damaging assault on Star Fleet HQ in San Francisco. Earth is super heavily defended, that's why it isn't attacked more.
