The swastika symbol was popular as a good luck or religious/spiritual symbol in the United States, prior to its association with Nazi Germany. The symbol remains visible on numerous historic buildings, including sites that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It also appeared on tiles, lampposts, metal valves, tools, surfboards, stock certificates, brand names, place names, medals, commercial tokens, postcards, souvenirs, rugs and clothing.
Duh. Pretty sure it's considered good luck to Hindu people too.
Swastika is a sign 5000 years old and signifies the Universe. Swastika means "Swa" + "Astika" which translates to "Myself" or my innerself "merged with allegianve to the Almighty". The symbol was adopted by Hindu Aryans of the Indus and Ganges civilizations" of India. The word Swastika is a Hindu word and the symbol is written on all Hindu Temples and places of worship in India. The properly drawn universe is a graph with X axis, Y axis and Z axis signifying a limitless universe and spinning but controlled by God It is a shame we do not understand the real meaning of the symbol and relate it to Hitler just being he found it convenient to use it.He just made a small error of using Z axis the wrong direction Let us leave it alone and not be wasteful
It's pretty obvious what that particular swastika represents though.
On Friday night, some of my friends invited me to karaoke with them at a bar in town, not realizing that you had to be 21 to be there. Out of the eight of us, only myself and three others were of age, three more were 20 and one was 18, so we ended up going to an 18+ club instead. Upon our arrival the bouncer checking IDs informed me that as a 23 year old, I was the oldest person there. Anyway, here's a picture of me with the 18 year old.
