I do sympathize with you in that I wish the guitar and bass parts weren't put secondary to all of the other folk instruments. I hate parts that are just whole note powerchords, it's really boring. Tbh I've only heard/seen that one song/video from them, so the rest of that album could be different. Anyway, like SB said, that guy has some nice harsh vocals.

Sorry, and I'm not criticizing anyone who like them, but that video made me laugh. That part where the guy on the bagpipes has this look on his face like he's a bad ass, was priceless.
I guess my first venture into Folk Metal wasn't a good experience.
