Generally, it IS a nice thing for computers to have, and in certain instances, where quick execution of a fast string of commands is necessary, it is worth having... especially since the internal speed of a CPU is faster than any periphial or device connected to it externally... it may prove to be very beneficial.



The 2.4 is available with HT as well afaik.

It's definitely a nice thing to have, but it's over-hyped by Intel.

Give me an FX-51 or an FX-53 over any Intel anyday.
