So, I was talking to this chick who's going through some problems and I had let her listen to Evergrey a few times from their myspace but nothing could have prepared me for what happened. Tonight, I told her "Let me type up some Evergrey lyrics for you" and I just happened to be listening to Broken Wings. The lyrics perfectly explained how she's been feeling and she just started to cry. I made her go to the official myspace to hear it and she just absolutely got into it. It really showed me how powerful Evergrey's music is. I have no idea why I made a topic about this but I just wanted to get it off my chest. Back to consoling this poor girl. :/

Well, as bad as hearing someone crying is, it usually ends up being really good for you. Sadly, I can attest to that aspect.

It's a reaction that shows that, "in this case" she realizes that she's not the only one in the world going through what she's currently going through. As a musician, having someone connect with my music is my ultimate goal, and when someone cries, it shows that you have stirred some emotion within or connected with them some how. Isn't that the goal of all music?

erm... i didn't quite know where i should ask this question but i've been looking for (an) evergrey-patch(es) for a while now, and i haven't come across any... in the eg-shop there aren't any eitherbut they can't put ALL their stuff in there, i guess. a few months ago i found mahself a eg-button in the local metal-shop and that made me wonder again... ARE there even any? or should i just look better? and if there are, are there new ones for torn too?

I have an Evergrey patch, it looks likt the Evergrey clan pring on t-shirts, looks really nice and I bought it from their store a couple of years ago. Mail and ask them! Was there more then one pin in the store? I would like one
