The rerecording of songs! I'm PISSED!!!!!

I am pissed at the songs everyone is voting for!!!!!

I mean we all heard these songs live with Bush on vocals! The only good ones are Lone Justice and K.I.I.T.F. I mean really antisocial and got the time!?! There not even Anthrax songs there covers!!! 90% of these songs we heard a zillion times live with bush on vocals. Dosent anyone here want to hear some obscure Anthrax songs that they NEVER play live let along with Bush on vocals. I mean songs they didn't even do when Joey was in the band. Lets vote for some Fist full of metal songs, some P.O.T. songs. I mean am I the only one here that wants to hear A Skeleton in the Closet???? That song is fucking awsome!!!! I think they should scrap the whole voting process and re-record every song they have ever done, then all the bitching would stop and there would peace on earth. And while they're at it, they should go back and re-record all of Armored Saint's albums too....

Because we wanna hear studio quality tunes.
Although, they are doing it live. But since it's live in the studio, they will be able to actually produce it better than live onstage. I wish they wouldn't use live takes for the vocals though, I actually want to hear John's vocals given full studio treatment, as if it was new material....just for the hell-of-it. It's not like it's replacing the old tunes, they will always be available.

The reason I disagree...

Anthrax have came to Cincinnati to play live (1) time in the past five years. I've never heard Bush sing the majority of these songs live.

If you live somewhere like Chicago, you're going to get to see Anthrax every time they tour. So it's depends on where you live.

And I'd rather hear the best songs, not the songs they never play. There's a reason they never play those songs.

the only 2 I have issue with are the covers. It isn't about getting the rarest tracks on this cd although I would love to hear various others that seem to be in the middle of the pack voting wise. I just don't want the 2 cover tunes on it as I want Anthrax originals.

I don't know how I feel about the covers. They are considered classic Anthrax as well.

I do know that the voting for *In My World* better pick up.

It is close to being in the top 12, it's sitting at 14 right now.

I am also crossing my fingers for Blood, Time, and Now It's Dark.

Here's to some obscure shit getting the nod.

i emailed scott about making it a 2 CD set and including the rare thrax tunes like time and blood. and he replied and said "don't worry it will be good and long". so there ya go...!

and we need a thrax DVD, just about every other shitty band has DVDs out - but not thrax :-(
