METAL MAYHEM is proud to present and advise you about: THE ROCK HOUSE

We hope to be able to have an establishment which will enable "Metal Heads" the opportunity to get out and about, hear some great music in a comfortable, relaxed and totally METAL environment!

You will be safe in the knowledge and be assured that you will be in a METAL environment and nothing else but a METAL environment! Just to add the ambience, we will have metal video clips on screen all night long!

GET ROCKED AT THE ROCK HOUSE!

Fuckin finally!!!!!!!!!!

If people in melbourne dont get their asses there, they have no right to complain about the lack of metal gigs/ clubs.

Keep it real guys, lets show 'bourne what we have and who we are

Metal Maniacs!

The Rock House opened on Saturday the 19th March. Venue Management advised us that we were 11 people away from having a lock out on the night which pleases all for the mere fact that it proves that METAL will never die! It is just as well that we did not include some people on the "people counter" as venue management would have closed the doors on us!

Satriani last time, now it's my sister's b'day party on the same night this month. Oh well, if I don't make it this month I'll try to next. What's the night like, anyone who went?

The first was quite enjoyable. good turnout, good music, although the sound was a bit crap. apparently they had a new PA system for the second night, but i couldnt make it to that one....next time for sure.

Daniel \m/

I looked at the setlist for the second night, and I didn't know half of it! Quite a surprise actually.

"For the upcoming Rock House, we will pay homage to both Metallica and Motley Crue. Therefore, either get dressed in your leathers and denim for Metallica or put the make-up on and tease the hair for Motley Crue!"
:tickled: oh dear

Part of the reason I haven't been is that I don't know if anyone I know goes. I always rock up to gigs alone because I always see heaps of people I know, but don't really want to rock up to (no pun intended) the Rock House or anywhere like that alone in case I don't know anyone.

Winmar get a gang together :)

DeadShkinMask have you ever gone to Batcave at Club 77? The ads for that look like it would be fun. And Die Maschine night although not metal.

I should get a gang together. Might have to hassle a few people to go one night when I know I'm free. :)

And hang out with moping little 15 year old goths? I don't think so...there's a good 80s rock/metal club here and there(No Life Til Leather, Eleven, etc), but not nearly enough, not as much as in Melbourne.
