hey guys,
i thought has crossed my mind once again and i would like your opinion.
well, since everyone nowadays record DIRECT in addition to the amped track and than re-amp the DIR channel, i was wondering:
if i've recorded a guitar DIR channel and let's say... Lamb Of God recorded thier own. same guitar, same Re-amp for both of us.
would they still sound better?
i mean, if it's only a clean guitar going through the same computer software, where do LOG preveil?
better DI box? better software? better sound card? or is all the difference in the amped tracked which just has a better amp, cam and mic?
