The Strangers

Well, he rebooted in in a way that does not befit a superhero movie, but it's not so bad considered in other lights.

Given the production story of this one it could be shockingly bad.

No superhero movie can ever touch Captain America.

That's a bad movie altogether, though. Peter O'Toole disowned it and fell out with the director because it was so bad. Check Bana in Chopper and tell me he's not good!?

As for Norton, he's a plank. A terrible actor.

i liked him in Fight Club (where some plankness was part of his character anyway) and American History X (where he actually showed some emotion). but yeh, he is pretty wooden.

and about Troy, it probably didnt help that it showed up in the netflix like a week or two after i saw 300 in the theater. i had the projector and home theater sound system, so it wasnt so much presentation as just a crapbag movie, sand and swords again, and nowhere near the intensity, action, and style of 300.

25th hour? American History X? Red Dragon? Shit even Death to Smoochy was funny, and Rounders wasn't half bad for a poker movie..

Yep, but a month or so before it was out there was no trailer. It's barely been screened for critics and Norton and Marvel were arguing throughout the whole of post production. Fling in that he's terrible and it could be an awful movie.

I'm more worried about it being bad than excited about it being good.
