yes, but Amsterdam is a wonderful city to roam around in, along the canals, visiting Ann Frank's house (yes I know, not exactly festive, but instructive)...and a short drive takes you to cheese paradise!! Edam! Gouda!!

My brother got bored after a few months there too. There is only so much weed to smoke, especially when you are broke....
