Oh lord....

Blut Aus Nord - Memoria Vetusta II – Dialogue with the Stars
Bathory - Twilight of the Gods
Burzum - Umskiptar

Wolves in the Throne Room - Black Cascade

I wanted to put Lateralus as I feel it has a place, but realize it isn't considered metal by most...

EDIT: Removed Jakens Tid and added 1184. Not sure why that one didn't get on the list in the first place...

Good to see Gris, Nyktalgia, Drudkh and Thy Light in there. Except Ill take No Morrow Shall Dawn, over Suici.de.pression.

AND, I agree about Marrow. Its my favorite as well.

Can I ask what makes 40 Watt Sun so special? It's a good album but it's not something I would throw on any "greatest of all time lists".

I included The Inside Room because IMO it is as good, if not even slightly better than Watching From A Distance, which was already a top 20 metal album.

:kickass:

I dunno about No Morrow Shall Dawn. I considered it, and they're on relatively equal ground, but NMSD does not have an "...In My Last Mourning", which is absolutely soul-destroying, so that's why I included Suici.de.pression over NMSD.

I don't trust any self-proclaimed metalhead that isn't at least a bit nerdy/unfashionable tbh

So a person's "coolness" (or lack thereof) is even a remote factor in whether you trust their musical taste?

I laugh heartily from my gut at you, with the utmost condescension. :loco:
