Van Helsing looks kinda cool but the one thing that really bugged me was the way the werewolf looked, kinda scooby doo-ish effect wise.

i just would prefer it if this movie were a two-hour film exactly like street fighter II but with aliens and predators using special moves on each other and moving on a two-dimensional plane.

according to the director guy there will be dialogue and according to a comment i read from lance hendrickson i guess the human aspect of the story is to be sort of a prequel as it were to the alien movies.

i really want to see this movie. i remember seeing the poster for it at the theater when i went to go see return of the king in ct and i got all excited.

I'm thinking Hellboy will be way cooler than Van Helsing, as far as dumb action movies go. Ron Perlman > Hugh Jackman, if for no other reason than that he was in City of Lost Children.
