I can't understand this rpg craze. As a young lad I loved Final Fantasy Tactics, Suikoden, and all that other jazz. But I was 14 and time wasn't of the essence. Nowadays I'll walk into the internet cafe every now and then to use the internet on my own free time and there will be full grown men ranting and raving at each other. "hey you fucking asshole, you got me killed why didn't you use your mana sword?!"! Seriously wtf?!? These new games don't even have a story line it seems. (I could be wrong) All you do is go around and try to level up your warrior. O.K so you're level 50, what then?

Don't get me started on the real life role play groups. I went away with a bunch of friends, we rented a cabin in the woods of northern Virginia so we could get fucked up and rock out in peace, or so we thought. There were all these fucking loons running around in capes w/ shields & axes and shit.

At like 4 AM, I hear this church bell ringing, followed by a yell of "the monsters are loose!" Next thing I know there's a full-on "battle" in the field outside our cabin, with grown men yelling shit like "Magic Spear! Magic Spear! +6! +6!"

I'm scarred for life.

I've LARPEd yo. I was a hitman in the mafia and sniped mad bozos, and I fuckin' loved it and will admit it. I was partners with a pimp and we just pimped out mad hoes from this apartment building we where running and shit, and I'de go and fuckin' snipe out people, then collect money from hoes, then buy booze. Also I sold drugs. Then the five-oh cought onto our game and we where interogated for like 2 hours over that shit, but I didn't crack cuz im a true gangster and in hte end we had the whole police force in our back pockets. Basicly we ran shit in the city. LARPing = win.
