I just put an order in for a new custom guitar. Its a Carvin bolt-on (Strat like) with an ash body, maple neck and fingerboard, flamed-maple head stock, h-s-s configuration, gold hardware, etc. I think this will be a great compliment to my Les Paul: the Carvin will give me a Gilmour like lead sound (hopefully) with awesome clean sounds and my Les Paul will provide the crushing heavy rhythm.

The only catch is, its going to take 8-10 weeks! What the hell am I going to do with myself until then? Oh well, it'll be all gravy when I get it.

Sounds cool ,, what's the cost on this thing?

$670, gotta love Carvin. The comparable Fender (actually there isn't one with all of those options) is $850. Gotta love Carvin, they sell factory direct so everything is much cheaper than other brands. The also make great basses, amps, processors, and acoustics. Perfect for the guitarist on a budget, like myself.
