Harbinger of Metal
Patrick Walker's MA Trivia:
Contrary to popular belief, Patrick is not in any way related to Richard M. Walker.
Together with Richard M. Walker, he recorded a one-song demo called "The Dread" (06:59) under the name Solomon Kane, using a 4-track in their drummer friend's bedsit. Said drummer played the guitar solo, explaining its poor musical quality. Purported to be recorded live at the Friendly & Trade Club in Solihull, Birmingham and released in 1983, the year the demo was actually recorded is uncertain. The fictional band line-up of this hoax band is Titus Crowe (guitars), The Iron Man (drums), Les Paul (guitars), and Anonymous (bass and vocals).
The band's fictional biography states that they formed in 1982 under the name Snowblind and that they are infamous in the doom metal underground. It also states that they have played a handful of small gigs, but have been rather unproductive due to Titus Crowe's alcohol addiction and visits to jail.
