The writing was terrible, the humor felt way too forced, and B&B felt too sarcastic and like they were purposely trying to crack jokes, instead of being funny because of their stupidity. They didn't even make fun of the music videos and the writers had the fucking gall to put clips of the Jersey fucking Shore in it.

The humor in the old episodes was more subtle and natural. If you thought the new episode was funny I question if you've even seen the old episodes recently.

Even the drawing and animation wasn't as good, it was nothing but bland solid colors with no texture.

I watched the new episodes, and I own the Mike Judge box sets. I thought this new episode ruled.

The animation was different than the old episodes, but it was better. It basically resembled the later seasons of King of the Hill. There were fewer music videos, but the reviews were still great. MTV has basically stopped airing music videos, so reviewing stuff like Jersey Shore makes sense.
