So what did you think of the movie? I didn't think it was one of Ridley's better movies, but it wasn't horrible either. The editing was all over the place. Kind of made for an unpleasant experience not having a sense of time in the movie, or at least I found it unpleasant. The siege of Jerusalem was the best part of the movie.

The resemblance isn't that strong, but I can see a tiny bit of it.

Now if you REALLY want to see a celebrity-musician resemblance, there's a guy in the second Lord of the Rings that's a dead ringer for a younger David Gilmour in that particular role...I think it was Karl Urban playing Eomer.

Well, there is a tiny tiny Resemblance in the hair and that is it... But Russell Allen has a certain feeling/look that just cannot be copied... Come on he is RUSSELL ALLEN!!!
