At 06.30 in the song, has anyone else noticed that one riff sounds like its straight from The Glass Prison?
Some of the singing at 07.15 also sound ENOURMOUSLY like the pre-chorus singing of Metallicas Blackened.

Just wondering if anyone else noticed this.

Ummmmm.....duh. This Dying Soul is part two of The Glass Prison.

Ok....here we go:

The Glass Prison is about Portnoy's past Alcoholism. The Glass Prison is the first part, This Dying Soul is part two and he plans on writing two more. The songs are about the twelve steps taken in AA. The Glass Prison is steps 1-4, This Dying Soul is steps 4-6 and the next two songs will contain the other six steps.

and i don't remember exactally about the blackened thing, but portnoy keeps kidding about that

so i guess it was totally unintentional, but after they listened to it on the final, they realised it sounded like blackened, and said "oh, wtf"
