This is definitely a legendary lineup, and was the year of most of these bands' greatest 80s records - Blackout, Piece of Mind, Screaming for Vengeance, even Pyromania.

You can find most of these tracks in high quality on Youtube - Just search which ever band you are looking for with, "Dortmund 83," attached. In fact, I bet it's all up there. I gave up on Def Leppard after Pyromania (though Hysteria was pretty good)...but the footage here of them is AWESOME. Very good live band in the day. Joe sounded great too.

I looked up some vids on youtube. I had almost forgotten how bad-ass of a live singer Klaus was. In fact, the whole band was incredible. They still sound good, in fact, but they were really on fire back then.
