Quite the opposite. Rob is a very accomplished guitarist and producer. The guy is like the Bobby Fischer of studio work. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that he is this generation's Steve Lukather.

Well, I've worked with the guy and know 1st hand how good his ear is, and he's produced Bruce Springsteen. The former is fact and opinion, the latter is plain fact.

I have heard the albums he has played on with Anthrax and they are some of my least favorite of their catalog. I can't give a shit how good he is in and out of the studio. There are tons of session guitarists that rip. But there has to be more than that. I'll take the Spitz era of Anthrax any day.
