Goddamn, what happened to this forum. Two threads about total shit bands with actual posts in them. Slipknot and Pantera only deserve flames.

Never been into them, they weren't one of the bands that got me into metal, which probably helps for a lot of people.

The odd song is listenable enough when drunk, but come on - most of it is arrogant groove metal drudgery.

I don't think people who have been into metal for a while end up liking Pantera a ton. Drudgery is the word for this band.

meh, never have liked them. Some of the solos were kinda catchy, but that's about it. One of their first albums was power metal for fuck sake!
