Thoughts on R.E.M

I like this band and wondered what you all thought of them. "Losing my religion" is one of the few monsterhits I like.
Love 'em. Got every album and unlike most of older bands they still make great records. 'Up' is definitely one of my all time favourites and when in Karaoke I always sing that 'Losing My Religion' song like.

REM is among my favorites, too. they had been my No.1 before i was listening to metal, so they will always have a special place in my heart. i have every album, too. losing my religion is an ace track, but i got SOOOOO tired of listening to and playing it.yeah, in summary, REM is one of the most underrated bands...after ANTIMATTER! :)

allan you should go to brothels in cyprus, sometimes they play a gospel/dance version of losing my religion, youd love it.

Just saw them on Letterman with a new song (guess an album is on its way) and remembered what a huge dissapointment this thread was :erk: , lets try again :) .

I remember being puzzled by that comment Mehdi, well deja vu.

they bore me stupid, middle class whine rock

i know someone who asked stipe for an autograph for his gf (they were outside a resteraunt sitting at tables) and stipe started bitching at him, so yer man told stipe what a miserable bollix he is.
