Hi Guys,

Here is the (hopefully working) thread for mixing Fury's EP...

It was recorded at The Old Smithy where Judas Priest did their last two albums, it's also seen Black Sabbath, Grim Reaper and was where Diamond Head recorded "Am I Evil". And now us!

The tracks may need some editing, Vocal tuning and drum editing which we are happy to negotiate an extra fee on top of the mixing for. Our budget isn't massive however.

The files are now available to download from our press pack at http://furyofficial.com navigate to the bottom of the page and click the "Download Dawn Of Survival" link...

The drum kit used is a Sonor Force 3003. Rhythm guitar amp is a Peavey 5150 and lead is a Vox Valvetronic. Bass kit was all Warwick. Vocals were recorded into a Neumann U87. Most tracks say what microphones were used on them and are numbered so they should drop into your session in order. Tempo 200bpm.

Mic Pre amps were Focusrite Reds and went into ProTools 8 HD3. Unfortunately we've had to reduce the quality to 44.1 24 bit. If anyone wants the original protools HD sessions I can send those for the final mix.

Any problems or questions I can be contacted at alasdair@alasdairdavis.com my website is http://alasdairdavis.com if you want any advice on marketing your band or work on facebook I'd be willing to help in exchange for your mixing skills!

Have a metal day!

Regards,

Alasdair

Daaamnnnn!!!!

I would love to have a go at this. Are their DIs?

Yeah sorry about Drop box, it's saying excessive activity??? The only DI is on the bass but we also mic'd with a U87 a 414 and an SM57 so lots of choice there. Tempo is 200bpm.

If anyone can think of another way of getting it let me know.

Regards,

Alasdair
