did i mention 'alone in the dark' by satan is easily the best nwobhm song ever recorded? i probably did.

'suffering hour' is inconsistently great, i assume that's the anacrusis record you've been given. with a bit of editing that album could've been seriously amazing.

i like 'by inheritance' quite a lot, some amazingly epic riff construction, i recall it sometimes being too flashy for its own good though. i used to like 'torture squad' too, haven't heard that one in aaaaages though.

although i don't like it half as much as a lot of people 'darkness descends' is a grower and warrants at least a few more spins.

i never got into tank either, can't argue with a bit of the ol diamond head though

Fear of Tomorrow is a fucking awesome album, I need to listen to more of the other two.

'break free' is the one everyone loves first along with 'trial by fire', but LISTEN TO ALONE IN THE DARK MORE (preceded by the intro preferably)

brian ross is god btw. i absolutely love blitzkrieg's 'a time of changes' as well, bit more rockish than 'court in the act' but still so outstandingly good, i guarantee you that when you hear that first scream you will be rocking out uncontrollably

btw theres always been a somewhat horrible sounding cassette rip of court in the act floating around so downloaders beware

Sodom is better than Kreator. Kreator and Destruction at their peak are pretty even for me. Gotta love some Teutonic Steel though.
