Thresh Fest Anyone ??

Hello everyone.

I'm also aware of how few Threshold Fans actually post on this here forum so I know my research results will be minimum at best
but it's still a good way to create awareness of my touring intentions :)

Of course once the idea and plans begin to gather momentum there may be some sort of 'Viral Marketing' taking place anyway
as the fans that post here begin to spread the word to fans that don't. In fact I'm hoping on it ha ha

Hint taken :p Have begun spreading it to other forums (including your own PQ one :p ). Already got a bunch of friends of mine very enthusiastic :D

Can't wait till you start to confirm actual dates.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU CELLO

More like this please folks, do as Cello is doing

RESPECT...

P.S. Some important news regarding PQ... but more on that when I can

Okay no more questions but let's have some random speculation

The PQ site had this on it today

POWER QUEST PRESS RELEASE 01/03/2010

Power Quest are pleased to announce that they will be returning to the recording studio on July 5th 2010 to begin recording their 5th, as yet untitled, album. This will be their second offering for Napalm Records and will be the first to feature the new look PQ line up.

Recording will take place at Remaster Studio in Vicenza, Italy and will be produced by Nick Savio. This fantastic studio was where the majority of the Master of Illusion album was recorded . Band leader Steve Williams commented, “It’s going to be great to be back in Italy and to be working with Nick again and I’m expecting to run into one or two very familiar faces during the recording process!”

Prior to this, the band will be demoing 3 new tracks for the record company at the end of March at Aubitt Studios in Southampton. The following songs are set for inclusion in the recordings: “Sacrifice”, “Time to Burn” and “Rising Anew”.

So the extra news can't be about that. PM says it is "related" so anyone want to guess???

Bless you BDTM for taking such an interest in PQ... but can I suggest that if that wants to be discussed on this here Forum that we open up a new thread about it (Although I will not comment anyway until it is time)

Just that I would sincerely like to keep this thread just about THRESH FEST:)

Cheers guys

Pete

Do you even need to state it, it's already on several facebooks, fora and other places

THANK YOU MAN... awesome news that you have done that much already.
Just wish I had more info to give you all about this.
And yes I do express my gratitude to you all for taking such a keen interest. IT IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED :worship:

Yeah, I know, I see that a lot on forums ha ha, the subject matter always takes a massive detour (no pun intended)
What will start off as a thread about a new album or the like will end up as a heated debate about French walking sticks ha ha ha... Alas... such is the nature of conversation.

BUT... ANYWAY... BACK TO THE TOPIC

Well I do not have a name yet for this little tour, but we shall refer to it's
default moniker of THRESH FEST just for now. Who knows if people like it,
it may just [french walking]STICK

This looks like the kind of tour that would have several dates in Germany but I think you may give Milano a try, the Rainbow club usually hosts gigs like this - and perhaps is where PQ already played with Angra, if I don't go wrong.

Rob's living room is 600 km south of Milan, the trip is definitely not worth the cost!

But the gig should be well worth it for you, though? :p

I would suggest at least two dates in the Netherlands as well. Like Amsterdam (Melkweg?) and Tilburg (013), perhaps. Though I love De Boerderij (Zoetermeer) as a venue, I would definitely plead for something more up north (in the Amsterdam region, cos it would save me quite a drive :p )

Or maybe P3 in Purmerend! It's a very nice venue, good-sized and we could do an afterparty at Alex's place :D

Hi guys.

Well reading through all your comments is VERY encouraging indeed. THANK YOU
As much as I'd love to take this tour to Italy, especially to Robs living room :) Unfortunately I do not think that is going to happen. Alas it all comes down to money. And as I'm pretty much looking to
fund this tour out my own pocket, I think perhaps just a small localized tour in parts of Northern Europe is the best I, Damian and Johanne can hope for :).. perhaps when my album goes triple gold plated silver coated bronze finished platinum I'll be able to play anywhere, anytime I choose ha ha ha ha.

*pete quickly does some basic sums*

So that means peeps.. if all 7 My Soliloquy fans buys 4 million copies each I'll be sorted :)... SOUND GOOD GUYS ??? ha ha

Oh and Cello, I have noted the venues you mentioned and shall look into them.

With best regards and many thanks again for all your interest.

Pete

Will the first cd come with a foolproof plan to rob the natioanlbank, or hack into billgates his bankaccount. If so your plan might actually work
And with the little bit of money that remains i can start a very specialised cd-sho, to sell the remainig 3,999,999 copies
