Threshold WILL perform at ProgPower USA

This is GREAT news!!! This year just keeps getting better and better!!!

Now I'm hoping that he will do an Ayreon cover, during the All Star Jam!

Thanks Glenn for the info. And more importantly, thank you to Threshold and Damian!! This good news will get me to purchase more of their CDs that I have yet to get. Great way to start a weekend!!

Sorry I can't share in all the enthusiasm here. First, founding guitar player Nick Midson resigns, and now Mac is gone. Damian Wilson's ok, but Mac's better, this is a group in disarray and frankly I would be surprised if their show this year will even touch PPIII's stellar performance. Hang on to those studio albums kids, it may be all you have after this year to remember the wonderful Threshold with.

That pretty much sums up how I feel. I really prefer the stuff with Mac over the stuff with Damian, and the new album is phenomenal, so I hope they will at least still promote the new album and ask Damian to learn a few songs off of it. If they don't touch the new album, I'll be very disappointed, but I'm sure I'll still enjoy there set (just maybe not as much).

Thanks for the update Glenn and for giving Threshold a chance to work out a way to be at the festival this year. I'm really glad that they are still going to be able to play and I know getting to see them with Damian is going to be a treat for a lot of people.

Based on the setlists for the summer festival appearances they played, I would guess the ProgPower setlist will be somewhat different than if Mac were appearing, but it's very likely that material from the latest disc will be played, and probably stuff from other discs Mac appeared on as well.

It's funny... if their bassist left, for example, and the original bassist returned, no one would be worried about setlist changes... but those concerns invariably arise if a vocalist changes... :)

I'll start of saying that I am a Threshold with Mac fan.

With that being said, a big thanks to Damian for stepping up and making it possible for Threshold to continue with the tour and keep their commitments. I think thats a pretty awesome thing to do....who knows what Damian has had to leave behind and put aside to do this.

I'm still looking forward to seeing them in Oct. And who knows....seeing them live with Damian this time could change my mind.....

As big of a fan of Mac as I am, I never thought I'd get to see Threshold with Damian Wilson, so this is quite a treat. I'd personally like to hear his take on tunes like "Phenomenon," "Freaks," and "Narcissus."

Stay metal. Never rust.

After skimming through this thread, I haven't seen this question raised yet.

Will Damian be covering the songs Mac was going to sing in the All-Star Jam or is he selecting his own?

I'd assume he'll select his own but you know what happens when you assume,...lol.
