Just passed out some cards at the Iced Earth/Symphony X show in Houston. They disappeared fast from the bathroom ledge.

Wow, thank you so much! We really appreciate you doing that.

If anyone would like some ProgPower USA business cards to distribute at their local shows, music stores, etc., please email me your mailing address at jen at progpowerusa dot com and I will get them to you!

Thanks
~Jen

We are down to 500 remaining. I anticipate a nice bump once the Wed/Thurs shows are announced.

Spend your tax return soon!

I know this has been asked before, but Is there any just 'general vague idea' when you think the wed/thurs will be announced now we are into march?

after the bill for our studio time, prog power is next! \m/!!! really looking forward to this year!

- also for the record... I'm sorry if this seems a dumb question, I am just apparently very out of the loop on some things...

Glenn said that single day tickets will go on sale in August if not SOLD OUT. That's pretty self explanatory...

Bear

I'm just asking if I have a chance that it's not sold-out by August. I've never been to the fest so far so I've never bought any ticket, be it the full pass or single day ticket. So I'm asking questions. Maybe I should have been more precise: is the fest usually sold-out by August, or there are single day tickets that are being sold most of the time at that period?

Do you always nickle and dime promoters for events you wish to attend?

Yes, you're correct, it's been asked before in numerous places. But no, we do not know when we will be able to make the Wed./Thurs. night announcement, as it's completely out of our control. Hopefully, we will be able to soon.

I'm not too sure if I understand what you mean as English is not my first language, but the fact is that it will be physically impossible for me to attend anything other than Saturday, as I'll be attending a training course for my job in Las Vegas until Thursday at the soonest and I'll be flying on Friday. So, that leaves only Saturday left for Prog Power, that I would really like to attend, for Pretty Maids only, even though I'm interested by other bands as well.

So, that's why I'm asking for the single day ticket. I'm never too crazy to buy tickets for events I won't attend (like the other PP days)...If I'm forced to, maybe I'll think about it, otherwise, I'll take the single day ticket if it happens...

You have to decide if you want to take the chance. They seem to always be close to a sell out, so after they announce the Wed/Thurs show, it could sell out and you'll be out of luck. Or if you really don't want to miss Sat, the ticket price isn't that much that you would be overspending to get to see Pretty Maids. Heck, the ticket price is well worth it to me just to be able to see Serenity.

Why not fly out of Vegas early Friday morning? That should get you to the festival in time. I fly from AZ every year and it's only about a 4 hr flight, yeah you lose some time due to the time zone change but it's more than doable. That way you can buy the two day pass and not have to worry about a potential sell out and you not getting the one day Saturday pass. You won't regret coming on Friday. I guarantee it.

Second this. Given that Friday is going to go well into the night, you could get in by 3pm, check-in and at least do the earlier sets (or later if you're like me and just conk out on the plane).

But you never know, so if this is something you want to see, shell out and if you can't get here on Friday, see about selling the Friday ticket. Otherwise, you can hedge your bet and hope. :/

Hello all of you beautiful, lovely PPUSA family members. Please allow me, your brother Scott, to say this once again. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT WAIT TO BUY YOUR TICKETS! BUY THEM NOW!!!!!! Thank you ...............that is all. :)

Let me chime in and then end this discussion.

I am not Ticketmaster. I am not a corporation with unlimited funds. I need every ticket sale I can get to keep this festival alive. I think every regular on this forum knows that by now. Thus, I need every two-day sale I can get. If you are going to fly all the way to Atlanta, then please purchase a two-day ticket. It is still cheaper than flying to Europe to see Pretty Maids.

I do realize that not every customer gives a shit about the actual business or what I have at stake, but I like to think that members of the forum care as much about my efforts as I do about their attendance.
