The coolest thing about joining Usurper 6 months ago is that Rick writes about 2 things... Metal, and the supernatural. haha! The song Full Metal Maelstrom from the Necronemesis album is about the Philadelphia Experiment. Most fascinating to me is the effects that the experiment had on the crew members. Supposedly, some of them would just dissapear days later, and some of them had pieces of the ship embedded in their flesh. I could read about crap like that all day.

Hey guys. New to the forum here. Fan of the band. I've been facisnated with the Titor tale for about a week now, and I told Vito about it at a gathering soon after discovering it. Needless to say a very good read. But I was skeptical and started doing some research. Found many arguments showing that Titor was legit as well as he's full of shit. This link http://www.livejournal.com/community/hoaxes/90359.html shows an intelligent statement on why Titior was a hoax. Hehehe, just fanning the flames here.Enjoy!

Well look who we have here! What's up Alex glad you signed up. Now I gotta spend another hour looking at this debunker site. The site mentions that this Titor guy is posting as an alien on another forum that's funny shit. I wanted to believe this guy too, but I know better than to think that if someone really did travel from the future that they would interact with us on an internet forum. Maybe I shold post my book in progress and see if anyone believes I'm a time traveller from the future.

I read the entry on livejournal too - good counter... I don't necessarily believe *or* disbelieve this John Titor guy, but it's an appealing read and something to think about. To me, my whole time travel fascination is just something I think of as well hey it's possible, I don't try to prove it or disprove it. If when I die, I discover it was all bullshit, well then my life will just have been that much richer for being interested in and open to all my sci-fi, paranormal, X-Files Lone Gunmen wannabe, government conspiracy seeking, boogeyman in the closet- self.

Some more people claiming to be time travelers around there too. One guys arguement is that he can't rememeber exactly what is supposed to happen soon in our time, but he thinks the pope dies soon. *is shocked*

1. civil war in iraq. within 5 years

3. big ben gets hit by a small ptrivate plane and there are 3 other terrorist attacks on the uk and then britain have martial law for three months. within 7 years
4. the pope dies either this year or next year
5. britney spears will pose nude within 2 years
6. an asteroid or nuke will hit russia killing 3 million people in 2007
7. ossama bin laden will be caught and then islamic radicals will free him. very close to the time that iraq goes into civil war.
8. namibia will go like zimbabwe is now. within 3 years




....I like how Britney Spears' naked self is up there with the pope dying and an asteroid hitting Russia and killing millions.

You know what else that I find interesting, which totally contradicts these time travellers, is that the ancient Mayans predicted that the world ends on Dec 23 2015 I believe. The ancient Mayans also dissappeared with out a trace, I personally believe that they were taken by aliens. The Mayans built pyramids similar to the Egyptians although they were thousands of miles from each other. The theory is that an asteroid hits Earth in 2015 and we go bye bye. Only time will tell I guess.
