Tired of spam!

Hello guys!
I'm getting tired of all the fucking spam in our guestbook.
Shall we keep the guestbook or shall we delete it?
Post your opinion or just choose in the poll.

i don't see that much spam in there, and i think it's a cool way for people to be able to say something about skyfire without actually having to register for the forum.

Personally, I'd part with the guestbook.
Guestbooks are fun when only a moderate amount of users post in them. They start going out of control and become a bit of a spam-mine once the userbase surpasses a certain size. It might be easier to simply remove the guestbook and direct the users to this forum. Another alternative would be for you to create an email address for the entire band and add a submission form to the website.

Think you have to put a very simple register thing on it. Just fill in some shit, then you receive mail,activate the password, and you can use it....

Spammers won't take time to do that, so I think the problem is solved then...

They just wanna spam shit in a few seconds, and that's what they can do now.

Yeesh, every single post in there is spam. Yeah, you might as well toss it. Might replace it with a link to the forum isntead, or put a link to the forum on the main page.
